It is important to get an accurate diagnosis of dry eye, which requires further testing beyond a regular eye exam to determine the correct management for each patient.

Common Dry Eye Problems

  • Gritty, sandy, scratchy, irritated eyes
  • Foreign body or stinging sensation
  • Watery or itchy eyes
  • Blurry vision and redness
  • Inability to wear contact lenses due to discomfort
